For complete informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. : Our client is a highly successful and long established motor group and they are recruiting for an experienced Car Sales Controller to be based at their Flag! ship site in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Land Rover businesses in the UK and help build on their record levels of achievement.
The Role
As Car Sales Controller you will achieve and strive to exceed all targets and sales objectives through a well-developed and motivated sales team.
Responsibilities include:
- Formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum profitability from vehicles, finance, insurance and accessory sales.
- Working with the Management team to ensure strict adherence to process and procedure within the Sales Team.
- Ensure the sales team have full knowledge and understanding of product, promotional and marketing activities, and communicate visions and goals to staff by planning and preparing thoroughly for the daily sales meeting.
- Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelines.
- Taking a pro-active interest in t! raining and developing team members, developing skills to supp! ort improvements in job performance and to aid career advancement.

- Individuals who can demonstrate a successful track record in motor vehicle sales in a franchised dealership
- Sales professionals who are confident, articulate and capable of delivering exemplary levels of customer service.
- Candidates should also have strong leadership, negotiation and communication skill
- People who can construct and conclude transactions
The successful Car Sales Controller will:
- Have knowledge of manufacturer targets, bonus criteria and sales reporting
- Be IT literate
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
In return there is on offer an excellent remuneration package which includes:
- A basic salary of £18,000 to £20,000 per annum with an ote! of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience.

- On-going in-house and manufacturer training
- A group contributory pension scheme is also in place
