THE COMPANY:
We are Mental Limited, an independent game development studio based in Glasgow, specialising in mobile game development.
This position is REWARD BASED, which means exciting incentives can be discussed. (Profit share and freelance paid work is available).
Our current team is 7 strong and we currently work within the most exciting business accelerator program in Scotland. Due to this location there is also potential for paid work.
We are currently located 5 mins from Glasgow's Central Station.
This is an exciting company with an exciting future; currently in the running for funding through a £2 million government initiative, we expect to achieve our funding targets over the next 6 months which will reward those in at 'the ground floor'.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop our mobile games primarily using the Unity3D engine
- Develop projects from a technical perspective all the way from conceptualization to launch
- Help to guide architecture and framework decisions with informed technical strategy and expertise with tools and utilities
- Never settle for less than writing clean, well-documented and eff! icient code while intelligently overcoming the challenges that are unique to mobile development
- Work with the CEO to set development schedules, designating tasks for outsourcing, and creating/leading the code review process
- Continually research, test, and implement new techniques, frameworks, and utilities with the goal of constant innovation and improvement
- Help define and enforce development and design standards and best practices
- Work with Game Designers, Artists, and other Developers pro-actively to ensure the best possible product
REQUIREMENTS
- Mobile game development experience with the Unity3D engine using C#
- Advanced knowledge of Unity3D
- Preferably released or completed titles or applications for iOS or Android using the Unity3D engine
- Experience integrating with a variety of external UA/monetization APIs
- A strong understanding of game design principles and player experien! ce
- Background working with iOS build management and provisioni! ng
- Solid understanding of Apple iPhone/iPad app development
- Ability to properly scope and estimate time against projects and tasks
- Effectively communicate with other Developers, Designers, Project Managers, and CEO
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay abreast of game developments/standards
- You must be motivated, driven, and passionate about gaming and technology
