We cover St Neots, Huntingdon, Kimbolton, Sawtry, Somersham and the surrounding smaller villages and we are looking for compassionate homecare workers with morning availability that want to make a difference in our community.

Job Description


Are you an experienced carer who is tired of short calls and has limited/no travelling time? Do you want to work for a care provider that personalises the journey for both its clients and Care Professionals? Perhaps you have no experience, but have considered a care career? At Home Instead we know that caring for people is very rewarding and being a Care Professional can come with its up’s and down’s. That’s why, in order to help you achieve the best for yourself and your clients, we offer:

  • Regular work within the availability you give, this must match our busy times, enquire within to find out more
  • We are looking to cover clients in Huntingdon and surrounding villages so, providing you live in the area, our clients will be very local to you
  • Excellent pay rates – from £10.80 - £11.50 plus an enhanced rate for working bank holidays. Enhanced rates for experienced care professionals that hold a Level 2 NVQ (or higher)
  • Minimum 1 hour calls and appropriate travelling time – so you have the time needed with client without needing to rush out of the door to your next call
  • Mileage allowance
  • Training - fully paid award winning training and ongoing support, with genuine career development opportunities. We also have access to specialist training/ qualifications e.g., City & Guilds Alzheimer’s and End of Life.

  • Companionship and wellbeing support
  • Help with everyday tasks from cooking a meal to light housework
  • Helping your client access their community by accompanying them to the shops or appointments
  • Help with washing, dressing, or bathing.
