1:1 Teaching Assistant


 

An average sized ‘Good’ primary school in Stanley, DH9 are looking to appoint a passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis.

About the role

Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm, the desired Teaching Assistant w ill be supporting a child in Year 4. The child has SEND and has a diagnosis of Autism. The school would like someone who has experience supporting children with SEND. The role would start October 2023, and would be needed until July 2024 at least.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:

  • - Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • - Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • - A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • - An ability to work as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND.
