Process Engineer
Location: Aberdeen Scotland
Description: Energy Resourcing is at present recruited Process Engineer right now, this vacancy will be placed in Scotland. Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Responsible for all aspects of Process work associated with the client’s scope delivery. Work as part of the Management team to define, tender, review, comment and implement the project process requirements from FEED through to execution. Provide supervision to the various stage selected contractors. Ensure that work is planned and executed in accordance with the PDS and policies for Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental protection. Ability to work with minimal supervision covering both Topsides and Subsea workscopes.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Ensure delivery of all aspects of discipline design, specification and procurement of the project to cost, schedule and quality criteria as defined by the project strategy.
Ensure technical integrity of all discipline deliverables on the project.
Plan and maintain the discipline progress of the project including identification of critical path activities, and provide focus on critical activities.
Provide input to and work in accordance with the company’s Project Delivery System.
Technical liaison with subsea contractor, field operator and Asset as required to manage interface requirements
Timely resolution of relevant engineering queries.
Preparation and review of design/engineering documentation.
Provide input to cost estimates and execution plans.
Report periodically progress status to the line and function reporting lines.
Ensure all interfaces to Partners and other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered.
Maintain and develop current awareness of relevant engineering technology & Codes and Standards.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards and Procedures.
Provide input to the various Contractors in relation to process engineering matters through the life cycle.
Comment on the process design on operability and maintainability.
Review comments from the Certifying and Verification Authority on process design issues.
Assist in resolving process issues with the UK Authorities.
Participate in Risk Review, SIMOPs, HAZID’s, HAZOP’s etc. as required.
Evaluate discrepancies in design from design basis, specifications and scope of work and assist in resolving the issues.
Ensure that corporate and project safety, environmental and quality and standards are implemented and maintained in the design.
In conjunction with project planner, maintain detailed and accurate schedule,
Conduct offshore visits / Participate in (FAT’s) as required.
Site visits to onshore module construction yard (location TBC) as required.
Qualifications
Educated to a minimum degree level in a recognized, relevant subject.
Previous experience of 3rd party sub-sea tie-backs
Previous experience of large scale Brownfield offshore project work in the UKCS
Awareness of working within a stage-gate process
Experience in partner interfacing desired
Previous Operator experience preferred but not essential
Demonstrable knowledge of engineering contractor practices
