[ Your browser does not support frames ] Project Overview Accounting Technician Location: Chapelcross, South West Scotland (Annan, near Carlisle and Dumfries) Working hours: Monday Thursday, 8am 4:15pm, Friday 8am 3.40pm Salary: £17-20 Ltd / £12.50-15 PAYE Duration: 3 months
Objective Working within the Finance team reporting to the Business Manager, ideally you will be AAT qualified (or equivalent) and have significant experience of working with a financial environment. You will possess excellent attention to detail and team working skills.
Deliverables Your responsibilities will include; -Administer invoicing and timebooking in Agresso and resolve any related queries -Financial reconciliation at period ends and assist with forecast data -Completion of project reports and assist with variance analysis -Rigorous compliance with financial control policies and procedures -Finance review preparation -Provide cover for team members during periods of absence/holidays
Key Skills The ideal candidate will possess; -Previous experience in a similar role -AAT qualified (or equivalent) -Good working knowledge of IT systems, with fast and accurate data entry and intermediate to advance Excel skills as a minimum -Knowledge of Agresso would be a distinct advantage -Excellent attention to detail and team working skills Applications would be considered from recent graduates with a Finance OR Business related qualification, or those who are currently working towards this type of qualification.
Pay Rate Details Salary: £17-20 Ltd / £12.50-15 PAYE
