Interface Coordinator
Location: Aberdeen Scotland
Description: RHL is currently seeking to employ Interface Coordinator right now, this position will be placed in Scotland. For detail informations about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. We have a Major EPC commencing Q2 for 18 months based in Aberdeen city centre.
The management of interfaces between the Client subcontractors (subsea and Heavy Lift contractors) and the Project t! eam.
For each interface;
Define technical interface items
Define scope split between contractors
Establish schedule for interface items
Faciliate and follow up interface activities
Establish and follow-up the interface system
Ensure Interface activities satisfy the assigned budget provision
Other tasks as directed by the Engineering Manager.
The role holder shall on own initiative:
PROJECT EXECUTION MODEL:
Review the procedure for the interface clarification system and, if necessary, prepare a project specific revision of the procedure.
Establish interface clarification numbering system.
Agree on formats for interface clarification and interface schedule with parties involved in the interface.
Make sure that the interface clarification system is communicated and well known in project:
Present interface clarification system to users in project.
Present interface clarification system to Client,! as required.
Take personal responsibility for HSE by! focusing on own behaviour.
Establish interface organisation in cooperation with Engineering Manager.
Participate in teambuilding activities within the engineering organisation, as required.
Liaise with other organisational units.
Maintain a focus on the project vision, goals and strategies throughout the project.
Obtain a good working knowledge and understanding of the contract details and mechanisms in relation to interfaces with Client and other Client contractors.
Within area of responsibility;
Ensure clear interfaces towards Client, Client contractors and other subcontractors,.
Ensure that the interface between own scope of work and the scope of work for other parties, is clear and understood by the project organisation.
EXECUTION
Ensure that interface clarification is performed in accordance with the established interface clarification system.
Approve and issue interface clarifications.
Receive, review and! distribute interface clarifications from other contractors. Initiate necessary actions.
Update and issue interface schedule, as required.
Implement corrective actions as necessary / as agreed.
