Location: Swinton Scotland

Responsible for HR Systems, involving maintenance of current Systems & continued expansion of functionality to ensure customer expectations of quality, accuracy and ease of use are met.

Managing a team of technical Systems Administrators and Assistants who ensure that Â'SystemsÂ' delivering HR solutions and processes are delivered in line with best practice and GMFRS policies and procedures, and support the delivery of corporate aims and objectives.

The role supports the production of complex management information which enables monitoring of the performance of the HR Directorate and supports organisational objectives, plans and activities.

In order to be successful in this role you will require: -

• Experience in leading and managing people.

• Experience of preparing reports to assist management decision making.

• Knowledge of cr! eating, developing and maintaining systems administration, pol! icies, procedures, processes and training materials.

• Experience of managing and allocating resources, tasks and people in the creation and delivery of effective plans.

• Knowledge of report writing tools such as Business Objects and the ability to work with data in Excel.

You will have the ability to demonstrate strong analytical, evaluation and problem solving skills, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
