Location: Cherrywood, Ireland / Glasgow, UK
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality job-specific training courses to the Global Support and Deployme! nt (GSD) Organization and specifically Field Services / Storage Services within the Emerging Markets region.
Role interacts with Dell team members including the L&D team, Dell partners and functional organizations to identify the needs of the various regions, prioritize against criteria and arrange delivery of this training using existing training delivery resources. Requirement to identify immediate Emerging Market needs and address through use of existing L&D Development/Delivery resources while developing a long term Learning and Development strategy in alignment with and supporting Dellâs overall Emerging strategy.

- Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the Emerging Markets (EM) group, including improving training and contributing to business metrics.
- Oversees the planning of course design and support documentati! on to meet the bespoke EM requirements while ensuring a base l! evel of consistency with the other regions
- Ensures training program(s) and curriculum meet company and stakeholder objectives.
- Maintains communication with stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of training.
- Coordinates the staffing and scheduling of training using virtual trainers both within GSD L&D and outside
- Motivates team members and creates team cohesion.
- Acts as an informational source on organizational practices and procedures.
- Takes lead in addressing both internal and external issues regarding training design and delivery.
- Ensures the content and delivery of training materials are appropriately tailored to the specific audience (regional and local country considerations).
- Takes the lead on L&D process improvement as required
- Contributes to the Global L&D 3 yr plan, through engagement on Global L&D Transformational program
- Effective collaboration with EMEA/APJ/ABU Training Mana! gers as well as the overall GDF Training Manager
- Responsible for EMERGING Markets Training Roadmap Management and planning of forecasting of requirements
- Responsible for working with L&D Lead to manage all issues related to Hardware, certification management and budget control for respective sites
- Responsible for training activity related to all GSD stakeholders as required

- 10+ years of relevant experience or! equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Must have both the necessary technical knowledge and the real-world experience with multiple enterprise class software solutions. Examples:
