Xpress Recruitment are currently working with Maximillion, a modern, fast moving Event Management company that have developed award winning products and corporate e! vent management services which now extend to corporate entertainment, conference/ incentives and hospitality across the UK & Europe. We are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join the team on initial 9 month maternity contract which may be extended to 12 months.

The Job:
The sales team is responsible for responding creatively to client enquiries, meeting targets and exceeding customer expectations. The sales team works closely with the operations team to ensure the seemless delivery of events and a fantastic customer experience.

The job of Account Manager can be summarised as follows:
Account Management of customer files.
Handling new enquiries from proposal to confirmation.
Business Development through prospecting and networking.
Marketing: Website, E-marketing, SEO analysis.
Work to and achievement of personal and team performance targets and goals relating to sales and service.

The Person:
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic self-s! tarter who is quick to learn, has great attention to detail, and is able to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines. You should be passionate about the events and hospitality industry and committed to the highest levels of customer service.

You should also be ready to embrace the strong values and open culture we enjoy at Maximillion.

Key Skills
Sales - experience in selling and working to targets
Customer relationship management - developing strong relationships
Financial - designing and working to budgets
Presentation - able to present in front of an audience with confidence

The Rewards:
This post is for maternity cover. The duration of the contract is initially for 9 months, starting Monday 25th November 2013, and may be extended to 12 months depending on level of business and demand.

Salary is negotiable depending on level of experience and the position is based at our Edinburgh HQ, 11 miles from the city c! entre.
