Zest Optical recruitment are working alongside a small chain of independent Op! ticians to recruit a full time Practice Manager based in Edinburgh.
My client is a small chain of independent Opticians based in Scotland and they are looking to recruit a full time Practice Manager for a high end branch based in Edinburgh City Centre. This particular practice generally runs three clinics per day on, and you will be managing around 9 members of staff in total. Due to the location of the practice, it has a very high footfall and the clientele expect a very high level of service.
The role will involve generally involve making sure the practice runs smoothly; dealing with targets, KPI’s, staff training, maintaining stock and ensuing the store provides excellent levels of service at all times.
The client is looking for an experienced Practice Manager who has previously managed Opticians and been involved in similar tasks. Strong leadership and organisational skills are required. As well being involved in management you must also be ! hands on in terms of dispensing and dealing with patients.
The client needs a strong Optical manager who can help drive the business forward, and this will be a great challenge for the right person.
This is a full time role working 5 days a week including Saturdays and 1 Sunday per month. Hours are worked anytime between 8.45am and 6.30pm (5.30pm a Sat)
The salary will be dependent on experience.
