About the team?Working within a dispatch team of 11 and a wider station team you will be a general purpose relief covering annual leave and also sickness.
About the job?
As Service Delivery Assistant GPR you will be responsible for covering the team which includes annual leave sickness and courses. You will be part of the Passenger Assist team whilst the shift pattern covers 24 hours of the day. You will need to be proactive and have strong problem-solving skills
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Providing the highest levels of customer service and being proactive to customer needs
- Ensuring the safe and punctual departure of trains from the station, following correct dispatch procedures and investigate dispatch irregularities.
- Providing information and assistance to customers
- Ensuring the safety of customers, staff, visitors and contractors is given the highest priority
- Maintaining a safe, pleasant and clean station environment
- Ensuring customer security by maintaining a strong visibility within the station
- Working in conjunction with the station management team to increase the CSM scores
You'll need to be:
- Able to deliver exceptional front line customer service
- Able to demonstrate great customer service
- IT computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, OneDrive and GWR operational applications
- A Self-starter with a can do attitude and positive outlook
- Confident when decision making
- Able to remain calm yet directive in a crisis
As a minimum, you will need to have:
- Evidence of numerical ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- IT literacy

Working Pattern?
This role involves working shifts covering weekends and bank holidays and operates to a roster of Earlies, Lates and Nights
