Bar Staff Job Description
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Take drink orders and serve them promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Operate cash registers, and ensure payments are dealt with according to the Company's cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling drinks
-Follow all safety procedures according to the company policy.
Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Ensure a high level of personal hygiene and tidiness.
-Handling all guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner and reporting back to the manager.
- Assist with party events as needed
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience of working in a bar setting
- Strong math skills, including basic math, and cash handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and help lift up to 25 pounds
