The Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance Department.
To carry out planned preventative maintenance, and repair breakdowns to the hotel's plant equipment and building fabric. To complete records of task sheets on completion of work to ensure accurate records are maintained. To be aware, and abide by, all hotel procedures and rules (as well as relevant Health & Safety legislation). Maintaining the hotel's appearance to 'as new' condition, and plant as possible, to maximise guest satisfaction.

Qualifications/Experience COSHH
A good knowledge of basic engineering including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and air conditioning

Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance, as detailed in the work instruction sheets and schedules
Suggest improvements to work instruction sheets, where possible, to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the scheme
Attend to, promptly and efficiently, all work requests submitted to maintenance department
Assist other departments within the hotel, when instructed, to help with peak demands, and absence etc
Ensure that all work is carried out professionally, and the area left safe, clean and tidy
Ensure that all work is carried out in line with Marriott procedures and standards.
Ensure that all work is carried out to Health & Safety specifications, both legislative and Marriott
Attend to, or report any defects, or Health & Safety matters brought to your attention
Maintain a written record of all maintenance work, ensuring that all details are clear and accurate
Work to a shift rota system, to provide coverage as required by the hotel
Take parting rota on-call system, to provide assistance to emergencies out of normal hours
To be aware of the facilities, and product knowledge to maximise sales opportunities
To actively take part in improving the quality of West Hampstead, both individually and as a team
To actively take part in all training sessions
To actively take part in all energy management and conservation issues
To undertake weekly scheduling of engineering associates
To assist in the training of associates on issues such as; Fire Alarms, Sprinklers, and the usage of equipment
To ensure that spares and combustibles are kept secure, and met all Health & Safety requirements, and to keep all stock levels to the correct amounts
To maintain all tools and test equipment in good working order
To keep workshop and plant rooms clean and tidy at all times
Carry out the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the hotel to the highest possible standards. Guest requests are to be carried out as a priority, to maximise guest satisfaction and room availability
Ensure plant rooms, storage areas and workshops are clean at all times
All work carried out is in compliance with legislative Health & Safety laws
Maintenance standards are to be met at all times, uniform is to be worn, and a polite and helpful manner portrayed towards guests and associates at all times
Be available to work weekend shifts
Be able to maintain accurate purchasing records by adhering to Marriott policies and procedures
