My Client
My client is a leading Manufacturing organisation, an exciting opportunity has arose within their Marketing team for a Market Analyst to join them initially for a 6 month basis with the possibility to lead to permanent employment.
The Role
Based within a small Marketing department, you will work closely with the Senior Management team to provide them with market data on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. You will be required to source, manipulate, extract and report the data using Excel and PowerPoint.
Duties will include:
- Provide information collection analysis & reporting functions to for -
- Macro economics
- Product supply & demand
- Geographic markets
- End-use/Customer/Channel segments/Value chain analysis
- Project & product development analysis
- Presentation Support for Commercial/Marketing functions
- General support to Marketing Group
- Marketing & Sales project analysis
- Establish, maintain and communicate user friendly databases
- Support Marketing and Sales Group in presentation preparation for
- Customers
- Internal use - for all departments
- Provide a variety of other support services to Marketing function
- Degree qualified candidate in a related field such as Marketing, Economics, Statistics or Finance is essential.
- Previous experience within a similar Market Analyst position.
- Advanced IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Candidates should have exception numerical and analytical skills.
- Able to communicate to a wide audience including Senior Management.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work on own initiative.
