As a Services Manager, you will be responsible for the management and development of ARK’s current and future services. This will include initiating and responding to service developments to meet the changing requirements of the Local Authority, families and service users.
The post holder will require particular expertise in leading and implementing change and will be able to evidence sound decision making skills and the ability to deal with challenging and complex situations. You will have responsibility for all aspects of financial management and for leading and directing staff. You will demonstrate leadership in the compliance of organisational policies and procedures, developing local guidelines, Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity regulations.
Experience of managing and leading social care services is essential as is a sound knowledge and understanding of key legislation and social policy. Ideally you will hold an SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and also have, or be willing to undertake, an appropriate qualification in Leadership and Management to meet SSSC Registration requirements.
