Overlooking the beautiful River Esk in the tranquil conservation village of Lasswade, the Paper Mill is! a new all-day bar and restaurant situated in an historic former paper mill.
The kitchen staff are a very close unit and we hope to add to that for the upcoming summer season. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team. Hours are approx. 50-55 per week and salary is dependent upon experience.
We cook with ONLY fresh produce (so if a whole venison scares you, please do not apply) and focus on local and seasonal food. Although the phrase 'local and seasonal' is over-used, we truly believe and adhere to it.
This is a busy, fast paced environment so please bear this in mind when applying.
Experience with pastry is an advantage but not essential.
