We are now seeking a talented Field Sales Professional, preferably with expertise in new business sales and experience of cold calling, to report into the Area Sales Manager and to take responsibility for a territory within Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, East Scotland.

The objective of the role is to sell a mix of extinguisher and alarm service contracts, fire risk training, fire risk audits and portable fire extinguisher and related products, all through a combination of self generated leads and cross selling to existing customers.

As the successful Field Sales Executive, a track record in new business sales and experience of selling within the Business to Business market is highly advantageous and experience of the fire and electronic security market would be an advantage. However, you may be of graduate calibre, seeking your first opportunit! y within field sales. Or you may be a fire or security enginee! r who has always felt that you have the ability to sell - but without the opportunity to progress. Alternatively, you may already be an experienced, proven New Business Sales Professional - in either field sales or B2B telesales. Either way, as a Field Sales Executive, it is essential that you possess the stamina, tenacity and hunger to fulfil a successful career in field sales and that you can demonstrate that cold calling, cross selling and up-selling and new business development are skills you naturally possess. You will also be an excellent communicator with a passion for providing great customer service whilst continually focusing on achieving targets and results and you will have an energetic personality and attitude.

You will be expected to consistently achieve your key performance indicators and targets that include a mix of new business, and cross selling to existing customers. You will also work closely with our engineers and customer service teams to res! olve customer queries. The services we provide are critical to business continuity and include life systems and therefore it is vital that our procedures and paperwork are adhered to and completed in an accurate and timely manner. Working as part of a team, you will be expected to always conduct yourself in a professional and organised manner.

The Basic Salary is £18,819 plus four months of minimum guaranteed commission of £500 per month + Car + Bonus + Bens. The Year 1 OTE is c£35,000+ and Year two is c£40,000+, with an uncapped commission scheme. Our Top Performers earn in excess of these amounts.
