We are currently looking for an Logistics Coordinator.

Responsibilities and tasks

We have a Major EPC commencing Q2 for 18 months based in Aberdeen city centre.

Main Responsibilities
Pre-mobilisation Activities
Be the focal point for offshore & site based personnel mobilising
Liaise with all interfaces to get the employee to site
Liaise with client logistics in respect of MAPs/Vantage & check-in times
Process necessary paperwork (maps forms, vantage registration, certificates etc)
Confirm check-in times to employees mobilising (or vendor company)
Arrange accommodation & travel as required
Input/update all systems with any additions or amendments
Order a! nd organise PPE issued and received

Day to Day Activities include the following:
Focal point for general day to day queries to deal with, refer and follow up appropriately
Liaise with project personnel (internal and external) to maintain accurate rota’s and associated records
Co-ordinate regular crew change activities (advise check-in times, accommodation, etc)
Ensure SAP rotation is kept up to date and accurate
Liaise with project/construction engineers with vendors travelling to site/offshore & co-ordinate appropriate pre-mob requirements.
Provide administration support to HR Advisor for medivacs, compassionate etc (e.g. accommodation, travel, update records etc)
Provide feedback and data on current and potential external supplier/providers
Continually seek improvement in working practices and put forward suggestions for improvements
Provide monthly operational and HR reports which are clear, concise and prepared in a ! timely manner
Build strong relationships with PM and project person! nel including wider HR team
Attend weekly planning meetings
Part of HR on-call team

Qualifications & personal attributes

Studying towards CIPD Professional Status or equivalent (CPP Certification or higher level)
Able to interpret internal processes & procedures (e.g. recruitment procedures)
Good understanding of various databases (SAP, Vantage, JustCompetence, Excel etc)
Good administration skills
Previous demonstrable operations logistics experience
Demonstration Aker Solutions Values throughout all work activities
Ability to prioritise and organise workload
Excellent communication skills
Able to make clear & practical decisions
Understand remit and escalate issues when necessary
