We are currently recruiting for the position of Sub Sea Engineering Manager, Europe and Eastern Hemisphere (EEH) who will work out of our Aberdeen office.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Commercial
Re! sponsible for the Successful execution of the company Strategi! c Plan as directed by the Global Sub Sea Engineering(SSE) manager. Overall Management of the SSE function in consultation with the Regional Managers/Budget holders. Provide Oversight of the global market and establish business development opportunities. Provide technical oversight to our customer base. Provide technical support to the regional sales teams and develop project opportunities with our client base. Have oversight of the global market and establish business development opportunities.
Operational
Development and delivery of the SSE engineering function within the Group. Provide technical Support to regional managers. Planning, oversight, execution and control of company specific SSE projects. Provide technical input to the SSE Operation and Logistic s function. Technical focal point for client Drilling Contractors.
Man Power
Responsible for recruiting potential and qualified SSE's to meet client's requirements.
Be respo! nsible for developing and maintaining the groups SSE competence matrix.
Overall management of training and progression needs of our individual SSE's.
Responsible for development of EEH SSE recruitment campaign
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10years experience in well control either with an OEM or Major Drilling Contractor, have project management and commissioning experience of BOP Installation work and associated equipment. Have a good financial aptitude with a proven track record of executing high value projects on time and within budget. Excellent communication skills, Ability to work on own initiative, with minimum supervision. Good time management capabilities. Proficient with report writing and the use of Microsoft Office Software suite.
