Online video broadcasting is a growth market. Primarily ! paid through ad sales, Neilson the rating agency say there is $78bil of worldwide ad spend that is not converting to sales. They recommend brands connect to audiences in new ways - I have developed a service that will help them do this!
My background is film and TV production/ad sales/events, and through my experience I have identified the need for a new video-sharing site connecting brands, emerging and established filmmaking talent, and audiences. I have an international network of contacts, and am brokering a current co-production/distribution deal with a Hollywood backed project.
I am looking for someone to drive the tech side of the business and get investor ready. Leading ongoing front and back end development of the website, you will be someone that can bring ideas, opinions, expertise and a sense of humour. Innventive, forward looking and resourceful, a passion for your work and being part of a creative team trying new things, are essential. A pass! ion for film and media would also be a bonus.
Part of! the Starter for 6 2013 Programme run by the Cultural Enterprise Office, I am currently fundraising. The idea has tested well with audiences, filmmakers and brands.
I am looking now as my current front-end developer has just been accepted on to a masters and so has decided to return to uni. He therefore has had to step back, but hopes to rejoin the team after the completition of his studies.
I am offering equity, co-founder status and a competitive salary once the site is launched.
