Main functions
Lead and manage a team of Supplier Management professionals which includes Supplier Managers within the central team and indirectly across the business - building capability and coaching the team where necessary.
Be accountable for all supplier management activity carried out by the function (both centrally and across the business).
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
Determine and implement the Supplier Management Framework within internal governance guidelines.
Embed the Supplier Management Framework across the organisation.
Manage delivery of Audit and FCA action plans.
Experience and qualifications required:
You should be a qualified supplier management professional and/or possess significant experience managing a supplier management team.
It is essential that you have previous successful experience as a broad business leader able to develop! balanced plans, which the business can afford to deliver.
You should have a demonstrable understanding of supplier best practice and compliance within a financial services regulated environment.
Superior communicating and influencing skills in a senior stakeholder environment are essential.
It is essential that you have a successful track record of developing people, spotting talent and managing a remote team at senior level.
You should have experience in both supplier relationship management and supplier risk management.
