Elearning Developer
Location: Scotland Scotland
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Developer to be part of a close team working within a fast-paced environment.
As there are multiple roles, there may be flexibility on the essential requirements depending on the other contractors appointed.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and maintain eLearning/multimedia projects
varying in size and complexity
Liaise with the Manager, Instructional Designer and Subject
Mater Expert(s) to tra! nslate learning objectives, requirements and
instructional! design into highly engaging content
Collaborate with a small team to make recommendations on media
elements
Report on and adhere to project development timelines
Stay abreast of current learning trends and eLearning
development practices, selecting and implementing where
appropriate
Review and verify results of staging and production in a
Learning Management System and/or other environments
Adapt/troubleshoot eLearning courses for optimal performance
for a variety of environments.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Skills:
Adobe Flash and Actionscript 3.0
Object Oriented Programming experience
Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
Sound experience of using an e-learning authoring tool (ideally
Lectora)
Experience of using CSS, XML, HTML and Javascript
An understanding of eLearning standards, learning methodologies
and experience develo! ping SCORM compliant courses
Learning Management System Administration (Moodle /
Totara)
Desirable Skills:
Project Management
HTML5, jQuery, CSS3
3D Modelling and animation (Maya, 3D Studio Max, Blender
etc)
Video Editing in Adobe Premiere / After Effects etc
Adobe Captivate
Mobile application development
Illustration
Experience working in fast paced, corporate sector.
