Description:
- Electrical engineering tasks within a bu! sy engineering office working on solids control and related eq! uipment & new product development
- Provide support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales & Service Departments Aberdeen and elsewhere as required
- Assist with larger projects working as part of a team
- Plan each project allocated in conjunction with others internally (eg engineering/service/sales) and external customers to ensure they are completed on time and in budget
- Produce engineering drawings as required by the project in conjunction with the drawing office
- Produce engineering documents - calculations, data sheets, procedures, manuals as required. Ensure these are neat & tidy and readily retrievable
- Liaise with clients and suppliers as required - good communications are essential
- Assist document controllers with clerical and administrative duties to ensure documentation is of a consistent high quality
- Qualified to Degree Level or similar in Electrical Engin! eering
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook, Autocad helpful
- Experience in an Engineering Environment
- Able to work on own initiative with little supervision
- Be self-motivated and a strong team player
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Produce accurate work of consistent high quality and quantity
- Experience of power, control, instrumentation, plc engineering, high & low voltage applications helpful
- Knowledge of ATEX, COMPEX, hazardous area/safe area electrical design & electrical assessments
