An opportunity has arisen for Warehouse Operatives to join our Warehouse team in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. Purpose of the role is to support the WAE logistics team on a day to day basis. Ensuring that requirements in terms of quality, cost and delivery are achieved. Assist in the effective supply of product and services delivered correctly to specification and to schedule. Overall to assist in delivering the logistics department strategy.

Job role:

  • Checking and receiving in-bound deliveries
  • Checking and packing out-bound deliveries, ensuring packaging is sufficient for transportation
  • Maintain concise and current stock records by accurately updating systems and where required, written records with issue and receipt information
  • Ensure efficient receipt and issue of components to build teams in a controlled and recorded manner
  • Responsible for ensuring good housekeeping is maintained throughout the warehouse areas at all times
  • Perform and record perpetual inventory checks promptly and accurately
  • Contribute to site operational efficiency by identifying potential improvements to processes
  • Operate at all times in a manner that complies with WAE Health & Safety policy and report all cases of non-conformance to line manager
  • Understand the key functions of Microsoft Dynamics 365, and be able to transact inbound, middlebound and outbound tasks
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining a 5S initiative
  • Assist in maintaining metrics, delivery notes & process documentation
  • Assist in carrying out the annual stock take
  • At all times to act in a professional manner, in keeping with the group brand image.
  • The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company’s objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.
  • Support all warehouse activities as per business requirements

You’ll have:

  • A good working knowledge of MS Package that includes Excel, Word, Outlook is essential
  • An understanding of an ERP system advantageous
  • Previous warehouse experience, preferably in motorsports
  • Valid FLT Counterbalance license preferred but not essential
