Description: Star Actuarial Futures is presently looking of Capital & Risk Actuary - Life insurance right now, this position will be placed in Scotland. Seeking an experienced actuary to provide independent oversight of the development, maintenance and operation of the risk, capital and performance management framework. This is a key role within the Insurance Financial Risk Team. Key accountabilities:
>Provide Financial Risk Management advice and challenge in relation to significant corporate programmes and projects as appropriate.
>Review, challenge and maintain existing financial risk policies, ensuring they are in line with risk appetite, IPSB standards and LBG Group Policies.
>Actively develop and maintain relationships with Finance / Actuarial and other key internal areas and stakeholders. The role is ideally suited to a qualified actuary, with a knowledge of insurance capital including Solvency II, and the ability to interact with and challenge key stakeholders in the business.
