Rate: £14.31 p.h. Paye
Our client are seeking a Instrument Maintenance worker to undertake maintenance duties within recognised competence levels and disciplines.
You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking instrument maintenance duties.
- Undertaking health physics self monitoring duties
- Carrying out zone monitoring and inspection of all plant and systems assigned
- Carrying out basic slinging and lifting duties
- Provising a maintenance stores service as directed by the Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Team Leader
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments and support the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality on site
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent e.g. city and guilds/BTEC/NQF Level 3.
- Demonstrable experience within a responsible role in an operational or maintenance department, preferably within the nuclear power industry.
- Should demonstrate good team working skills, enthusiasm, commitment, innovative thinking and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- An understanding of safe systems of work.
- Maintenance background would be preferable
