The successful CNC Machinist will join a team responsible for the programming setting and operating of a wide variety of special purpose and conventional CNC and Semi NC machine too! ls which are used in the production of metallic components to client specification Upon joining the team the successful candidate will enjoy a number of benefits including private health care pension scheme holidays 39 buy and sell 39 package and much more This role is shift work on a twoweek pattern including day back and night shifts Overtime opportunities are also available Key ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities Competent in the setting and operation of the majority of conventional andor CNC lathesCNC mills Capable of programming components on machine controls Fanuc Mazatrol Philips Hiedenhain Experience of working in a workshop environment The ability to recognise solve and implement required changes for machining related problems Proven ability to manufacture a variety of parts using a number of machine tools and programming languages Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints sketches drawings manuals specifications to determine dimensions and to! lerances of the finished work piece sequence of operations too! ling programming and setup requirements Be able and willing to coach and train others within a manufacturing environment The ability to work in a team and to use own initiative Skilled in the use of MS Office including email Organisational and communication skills The ability to operate and handle materials and tools in a safe manner adhering to safety procedures at all times and providing guidance to others Must adhere to housekeeping requirements promote safety procedures and risk assessments and maintain a safe and clean working environment throughout the facility Essential QualificationsRequirements School certifications Highers GCSEs or equivalent HNCHND in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous but not essential Proven background within a similar working environment to that listed above Forces Recruitment Services FRS is operating as an employment agency as defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 Please be aware that we must be able to confirm your identity and! that you have permission to work in the UK You may also be required to produce original qualifications if these are required for the role by the hirer the law or a professional body By applying for this role you agree to the above
