! The Job
The Engineer will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary site based team and will be responsible for monitoring and witnessing the successful Control and Instrumentation commissioning of a Combined Heat and Power Plant.
Reporting to the Site manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical guidance and input in support of the successful resolution of outstanding project issues.
- Review C&I related station documentation provided by the contractors.
- Monitor and review the installation and commissioning of the plant distributed control system, ensuring the control system hardware and software is managed to a quality plan.
- Monitor the installation and commissioning of the C&I equipment and advise where standards are not met, poor practice has been used or where the installation does not meet the design intent.
- Assist in the management of change to the existing installation
- Witness ! activities on behalf of the end-user including tests on comple! tion and ITP witness points.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships and communication within project team and with the contractors working at the site.
- Support any necessary audits.
- Maintain daily records of site progress.
