Location: Aberdeen Based +
Customer Sites.
(Onshore & Offshore)

Sector:
Supply of Bulk and Cylinder Gases and associa! ted equipment.

Overall Job Objectives:
To provide a highly customer focussed service coordinating related activities at key customer sites.

To develop a partnership approach with the customer in order to maintain and grow the business and prevent competitive erosion of our clients position.

To maintain a safe working environment, adhering to the highest SHEQ standards (whether our clients or the customers).

Main Duties:
Manage the local On Site service offering for the customer and coordinate all our clients related activities in conjunction with local supply branches.

Achieve the required revenue and profit targets through retention of the customer business portfolio and the acquisition of new and competitor business.

Identification and development of new business opportunities including the development and presentation of the proposal.

Achieve service level KPIs set within the customer ag! reement.

Manage the inventory on the customers site a! t the most cost efficient and effective levels ensuring no customer run outs of product.

Coordination of customer queries and issues to ensure prompt, regular payment and attainment of prescribed debt targets.

Monitor and analyse competitor activity with feedback to the National Site Services Manager.

Responsibility for the safe operation of the on site team with compliance to our clients policy and customer standards prevailing at the site.

Decision-making Authority:
Daily workload and prioritisation.
Full pricing authority for products and services which fall outside the scope of the customers agreement.
Innovative use of commercial and technical knowledge and supply options.
Gas usage, storage and safety on the customers site.
Development of customer implementation and programme plans.

Contact with Others:
All levels within the customers organisation including Procurement, safety managemen! t and end users of our clients products & services.
Local area supply branches.

Challenges of the Job:
Maintaining service levels and security of supply to the customer at all times.
Delivering added value to the customer to strengthen the On Site proposition.
Identification and evaluation of local business development opportunities.
Influencing the customer to adopt safe systems of work and maintain equipment to the required standard.

Knowledge, Experience, Skills Required:
Knowledge within a Gas, Liquid, Chemical, Pharmaceutical or similar environment. (Bulk or batch supply/customer service).

n the Order to Cash business cycle
A working knowledge of safety standards and their application within a related industry (membership of IOSH may be an advantage).
Customer facing and relationship building skills.
Sales experience and acumen.

Additional Information:
The On Site Customer ! Manager may be required to provide additional non standard services to ! the customer requiring additional competency and skill eg PAT testing of customer equipment or the movement of non client product (eg fuels/paints).
The On Site Customer Manager can have responsibility for multiple sites requiring careful deployment of product and transport resources from a central location to meet service level agreements.
