My client is a leading provider of valve actuators and control systems serving business across the UK. They offer a wide p! ortfolio of products for business partners mainly within valve manufacturers and distributors but also into the end user market within the Oil & Gas Sector. With this professional and customer focused company they are looking to employ an external sales engineer based in or around Aberdeen to manage Aberdeen and Scotland. The company is well established in the UK with over 30 years in the UK and has proven itself to be one of the leading manufacturers of actuation solutions in the UK. The company is looking once the successful candidate has started to set up an office in Aberdeen and continue to grow their present in the market.
The Role
As the Area Sales Engineer:
- You will be managing the existing account base for around 75% of your time and sourcing new business for 25%.
- With the area already turning over in excess of 1.5 Million
- Your performance will be measured on Sales Growth, area progression and your personal su! ccess.
- Supported by technical specialists and brand l! eading suppliers you have all the opportunity in order to grow the branch and progress your career.
- Candidates must be based in Aberdeen
- Market Knowledge - Knowledge selling a technical engineering product selling into the Oil & Gas Sector
- Strategic - Develop & communicate clear effective plans for all of your accounts and develop new business.
- Marketing - Work with and support the marketing team, implement listings for new product launches
- Commercial - Making sure agreements are right for the company, meet company budget plans and fulfil the group expectations
- Strong Communicator/Motivator - be able to instil a winning/fun spirit amongst the team
- Team Player - Being able to work across the functions
- Innovate - New ideas to help build the business
