They now have an opportunity available for a Warehouse Controller to join them to manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse function at their site in Ayr.
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you must ensure that the warehouse operations run efficiently, cost effectively and safely in line with Health and Safety policies; leading the warehouse teams in dealing with goods in and goods out and managing (and participating in) regular stock takes.
You must also carry out routine and regular housekeeping checks and inspections of loading bays, doors and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to company, manufacturer and LOLER standards.
Candidates for this role must be strong team players with a desire to ensure synergy within the warehouse team and between fellow employees. With an enthusiastic approach to operational tasks, you will have a strong commitment to maintaining the high standards of warehouse teams and the ability to make quick decisions to aid the warehouse process overall.
