The
Job
The
purpose of the job is to
recruit, train, and support
volunteers, ensuring their
effective involvement in
achieving the aims and
objectives of the
service.
This
post is full-time 37.5
hours per week.
LinkLiving aims
to provide volunteering and
ongoing learning
opportunities and
supervision to enable more
vulnerable volunteers to
actively participate in the
service. This role will
support that aim by
providing opportunity of
learning and development to
volunteers and equipping
them with skills to make a
valuable contribution to
the service. The volunteer
worker will support the
Senior Volunteer Worker to
recruit, induct and train volunteers and maintain
information for the service
for monitoring
purposes.
Maximising user
involvement and choice and
promoting and developing
innovative practice are key
aspects of the
job.
You will
need:

Ability to work with people
as volunteers

Able
to communicate and share
knowledge effectively and
appropriately.

Good written, oral and IT
skills

Ability to
deliver induction training
and support the Senior
Volunteer Worker in their
evaluation
