Our Metering business is responsible for effectively managing the routine rota ! reading and meter maintenance activities for our customers, as well as undertaking customer appointment visits for all gas and electricity suppliers.
We are seeking a well organised, self motivated individual to join our team and collect meter readings from both domestic and commercial properties in the Glasgow area.
This role requires you to read meters and provide a service for our customers and can involve walking around 6 miles each day.
You should have a full driving licence and enjoy working outdoors in all weathers. Some evening and weekend work will be involved. Previous customer service experience would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.
As the role evolves with the advance of metering technologies, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills further. This will include being trained to become a SMART Metering Operative, which may involve both installing new metering and providing energy advice to ou! r customers.
