Job Description The Role

KPMG is one of the leading Audit practices in the UK whose success and reputation depends upon the quality and integrity of our services - and our people. Your role will include:

  • Building an understanding of client businesses
  • Working collaboratively, assisting with the delivery of client audit engagements e.g. documenting processes, testing controls.
  • Keeping documentation up to date
  • Sharing knowledge
  • Acting as a peer advisor to new team members
  • Further develop relationships with and help utilize staff at KPMGĂ¢€™s offshore practice
  • In addition you will spend time studying for your professional qualification Ă¢€" the ACCA
The Individual

The key qualifications and experience f! or this role include:
  • Part qualified ACCA, having either completed or be working towards the Fundamental stage of the qualification
  • Possess significant Audit work experience with a Big 4 accountancy firm
  • Work experience for listed company clients
  • Experience of working in international teams
  • Sat and passed F7 Financial Reporting papers
The key personal skills for this role include:
  • Fluent written and spoken English is a pre-requisite
  • Able and willing to be based in either the UK or India, depending where the needs of the business are
  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work
  • Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work
  • Continuously learns from experiences. Seeks out feedback and development opportunities
  • Gives clear directions, positive and constructive feedback. Coac! hes less experienced staff
  • Works in a cooperative, respectful ! manner with colleagues, clients and the wider community
  • Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information
  • Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear
  • Builds the reputation of KMPG through the quality of work, knowledge and experience
  • Monitors and upholds high quality of service and products to clients (internal and external)
Salary Ă‚£20,300 - Ă‚£27,000 dependant on experience plus negotiable benefits
