DEPARTMENT / LOCATION: Aberdeen

REPORTS TO: Service Manager

MAIN FUNCTION OF THE ROLE:

Undertake responsibility for quotations/negotiation of extras based on client's specification.
• Review technical and commercial aspects of project specifications.
• Liaise directly with the client's personnel on technical matters relating to the design of the contract.
• To supervise or undertake, where appropriate, all elements of engineering design.
• Generate project documentation in line with company standards and procedures throughout the project cycle.
• To maintain and monitor accurate project costs utilising company processes.
• To ensure certification and QA/QC requirements are adequately met.
• Liaise with other relevant departments to ensure smooth and efficient progress of the project.
• Ensure project targets are met in a timely manner and within budget.
• Ensure that all invoices for materials and services are instructed at the appropriate times.
• Regularly inform the service manager of ! project progress.

KEY RESULT AREAS: Liaise w! ith all relevant departments in order to fulfil all technical, commercial and quality requirements of each project within specified timescales/programs within budget.

OTHER DUTIES: As required by service manager to achieve operational requirements.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
ESSENTIAL: Minimum standard of HNC or equivalent, in Control, electrical or Mechanical Engineering

DESIRABLE:
BSc/BEng or HNC in control, electrical or mechanical engineering

5 years' experience in similar Oil & Gas related business.
