This Big 4's financial services TAX team is seeking tax manager to assist their multinational clients in the FS market with advisory, transaction and compliance queries. This is a mixed compliance and advisory role.
Working across the firm's prestigious UK and International commercial client base you will have the chance to take on interesting projects for clients whilst your own development is supported by the firm.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing an effective tax service to a portfolio of clients;
- Managing the successful planning and delivery of tax projects, balancing technical excellence with a commercially viable approach;
- Winning new work through management of clients and client networking;
- Research and interpret new tax statutes and advise accordingly how they will affect the firm's business;
- Identify and mitigate risk and advise effectively concerning this to both firm and clients.
Candidates will have good academic qualifications and preferably is ACA/ACCA/CTA (or prepared to study for CTA) qualified. Experience in FS preferred but not essential and must have corporate tax compliance experience for at least 3 years with good understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS accounts. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively and knowledgeably with clients, and build tax relationships effectively. Attention to detail and sound project management skills are key. You should be prepared to study for a CTA exam to further your skill development.
