Due to further growth plans and significant positive development for their business, our client is now seeking a Senior Project / Manager / Director. This is a crucial role in leading the succcessful delivery of high value projects to customers in the North Sea and Worldwide, and involves a high level of responsibility and leadership.
The Role
- Clearly defining and communicating the scope of supply within the Organisation.
- ! Lead team of project managers
- Managing the project sc! hedule, identifying the critical path issues and developing mitigation actions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Project Risk Management, identification of risks and mitigation action plans.
- Development of effective working relationships with Customers, being the central point of contact.
- Leading a Project team of internal department members and Project Managers, the Senior Project Manager will motivate, take accountability for actions taken and develop a team working approach.
- Project Financial Management, disseminating costs /budgets to internal departments and tracking of these costs to the budget.
- Identify project changes to the original scope and create Change Requests for approval internally and externally, in order to maximise profit.
- Provide project forecasts for completion of equipment, services, cash milestones & margin.
- Understand the projects contractual requirements and ensure the business adheres to them! .
- Delivery of cash milestones into the business.
- Participate when required in departmental improvement projects, highlight areas for improvement.
- Provide reporting information for both internal and external use (customer specific reports) on a weekly / monthly basis.
- Participate in & run internal or external project review meetings
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to.
Quite simply we are looking for experienced senior project managers or project directors with experience of leading and delivering subsea oil & gas projects at senior level. Technical or Business Degree is desirable but not essential with strong relevant experience, SAP experience would also be desirable but again not essential. Engineering qualifications of any sort would be very beneficial. Candidates should be dynamic, driven and enthusiastic with outstanding communication skills.
