Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Managing the resources of people capital, material and time in the most effective manner to yield the greatest productivity and profit possible while maintaining product quality, consistency, plant and member safety, and sustainability of the operation.
Creating and fostering an environment of mutual trust and respect for others
Developing realistic operating, capital and long range plans
Meeting cost objectives
Maintaining optimum staffing levels
Assuring compliance with the environmental reporting requirements
Managing the performance of direct reports, ensuring ongoing coaching and development, communicating expectations
Key role in the management of the mill’s operating plan and budgets, based on divisional and corporate plans
Gaining align! ment with both Group and Mill objectives
Qualificatio! ns & Experience
Experience within a manufacturing facility/continuous process would be advantageous
