My Highlands based client, an industry leader in the UK of Manufacture of Natural Products with foundations going back two centuries and run seven manufacturing facilities across the UK and one in Europe, has an exciting opportunity for an Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be based in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
Joining the Engineering Team providing a planned and reactive maintenance and repair service, the successful candidate will be ideally time served and a qualified Electrician from a related production background with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills and proved experience in the repair and maintenance of modern plant and machinery in a manufacturing / Production environment.
Qualifications / Experience required
- Experience with PLC systems
- Fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- City & Guilds or equivalent
- 17t! h Edition IEE Wiring regulations
- Conversant with comp! uter based systems and software
- Willingness to assist in driving the business forward by understanding and implementing new technology and systems.
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible attitude towards work
- Willingness to work shifts and/or overtime
