We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Production Management Assistant to join our busy TV team in the BBC Gaelic department.
BBC Gaelic provides multi-platform coverage of very high profile music events in Scotland including Belladrum; factual programmes like Leugh Mi and DIY Le Donnie as well as producing the flagship children's programme Dè a-nis? for over 20 years. In addition, we deliver a full schedule of programmes for Radio nan Gaidheal and content for our digital platforms.
Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a Production Management Assistant ideally bringing some experience and energy along with a willingness to contribute ideas to a new production team. We want someone with drive, a good attitude and flexible approach. You should be ready to work on a variety projects or focus on one larger one as required.

The Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candida te would possess the following:
experience of working on TV Productions in studio and/or location work
an awareness and understanding of BBC Systems
experience of working within a busy team whereby prioritising workload is essential
You will ideally be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task during busy times.
strong organisational skills and proactive in devising new and efficient production systems.
a willingness to put forward ideas and suggestions for improved ways of working.

Contract: Ten months attachment / fixed term contract (Until March '19)
