Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 308,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty’s largest employers with over 4000 staff.

He kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

There are two O&G registrar core trainee positions to which trainees are allocated by the New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. There is also one position available for a senior advanced trainee. There are five non-training Registrar positions available.

There are eight Senior House Officer positions for which attachments can be of three month or six month duration. RMOs completing six month attachments are eligible to complete the O & G Diploma.

There are eight x Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
