Procurement Associate Offshore Wind

Will be involved throughout the duration of project, and contribute to commercial aspects of development, consenting, engineering, quality, HS&E, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and repowering activities.
Candidate will report to the Offshore Procurement Manager and work with the whole offshore team, as well as facilitating competitive processes.
You will be based in Edinburgh, but travelling will be required.
Responsibilities

Handle commercial document preparation and control
•
Commercial negotiation and analysis
•
Commercial information management
•
Carry out market analysis and knowledge management
•
Support process improvement from data collection to process implementation.
•
Conduct regular business review with suppliers
Skills
•
Relevant qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Business or other appropriate subject
•
2 years’ experience in equivalent or similar role: Procurement, Supply Chain Management,
•
contractor management, in an energy industry (offshore preferred)
•
Excellent language and communication skills. Spanish and Portuguese speakers a bonus.
•
Familiar with contractual negotiation and preparation processes
•
Ability to work well independently, and as part of a team.
•
Travelling is required.
•
Computer literate, with good knowledge of MS Excel Desired programming knowledge, as well as databases
•
Good understanding of Supply Chain concepts
•
Excellent analytical and critical thinking.
