My client, a Financial Services client in Glasgow require a Programme/Project Planner (MS Project) for an initial 3 month contract. The right candidate must have demonstrable experience a! s a Project or Programme Planner. You will be responsible for assisting Project Managers and Project Leads through creating and updating Project Plans, resource planning and embedding a new enterprise planning tool. You will be an experienced Project or Programme Planner with a good knowledge and understanding of the key elements of planning and project management, including governance surrounding Projects and Planning. You will participate in project team status meetings, work across a number of stakeholder groups and set up and facilitate planning workshops. To be successful in this position you will have proven experience of the following: - Working knowledge of Project Management/Planning Systems, specifically MS Project - Recent experience of working in Financial Services or corporate environments. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines with a high attention to detail.
