The successful candidate will manage the delivery team for Emerging Products including pro! curement, planning, sourcing and the end-to-end process for new product lines.
Role and responsibilities:
This is a an extensive and exciting role for a motivated candidate, covering the following responsibilities amongst others;
Procurement of all EP goods, sourcing and manufacturing management
Maximise the efficiency and productivity of the Emerging Products operation
Manage a diverse team of personnel across the delivery team
Create an open and honest working environment where ideas are shared and teamwork is encouraged therefore improving customer satisfaction
Managing the HR functions of the team, including hiring, training and development, performance appraisals and coaching
Liaising with other areas of the business in cross-functional projects, obtaining and sharing information
Preparation and control of departmental budgets
Experience and Skills:
Educated to degree! level (Business or Engineering preferred)
Manufactur! ing background preferred
Knowledge of Oil and Gas services industry-subsea equipment would be a considerable advantage
LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, APICS, API, ASME and ISO knowledge
Good working knowledge of budget preparation and cost control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, the post holder will work closely with and motivate personnel at all levels.
