Reed Accountancy and Finance are currently looking to recruit for one of their Stirling based clients to cover a 12 month contract to assist with an ongoing project.
This is a fantastic opportunit! y to join an organisation and really build on your accounts based experience. The organisation often recruit internally and have told us that although right now the requirement is a temporary one, they often try to take on really good temporary contractors on a permanent basis. They are looking for assets to their business!
What the organisation are after is someone with 1-3 years worth of experience within accounts (preferably Accounts Payable) and someone that has actively studied accounts at either university or college.
On a day to day basis you will be asked to-
Maintain the purchase ledger
Process high volumes of invoices within a busy accounts department
Match, batch and code invoices
Reconcile supplier statements
Deal with any invoice related queries
Work towards set KPI's
The organisation use an in-house accounts package. Candidates MUST be confident in their ability to pick up systems quickly.
