Cashier
£7.50 Per Hour to £8.50 per Hour
Full time 48 Hours or part time
Our Client is one of the UK's leading retailer with over 380 stores and growing. Our stores are looking to hire ! experienced retail staff to join their existing team.
Retail experience is essential. Excellent communication skills are required as this is a customer facing role.
Cashier skills preferable and shelf replenishment skills are preferable, but not essential, as training will be given. You must demonstrate the ability to maintain a safe and clean environment by complying with regulatory Health & Safety standards. Excellent time-keeping is a must, as is attendance. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, show keenness and a proactive manner as well as demonstrating flexibility when and where necessary.
The role requires the ability to carry/stack boxes of variable weights, safely and unassisted. Push/pull carts, acceptable for the physical requirements of the job, safely and unassisted. Bend and lift loads acceptable to the physical requirements of the job, safely and unassisted. Stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 4 hours, wit! hout a break. Maintain a smart, presentable appearance at all ! times. Follow and maintain company standards throughout the store.
