Description: James Smith Fencing is presently looking of General Office Assistant right now, this vacancy will be placed in Scotland. Due to our continuing expansion and recent office re-organisation we require a general office assistant to work within our busy and happy office environment. No previous experience is necessary and we are open to recruiting an applicant who would be interested in undertaking a Modern Apprenticeship. Due to funding regulations any applicant applying with the view of the Modern Apprenticeship must be aged between 16 and 24 and not previously had funding for this purpose.
Working alongside the other 7 office staff, the successful applicant will be required to carr! y out general office/receptionist duties, deal with booking in! and scheduling deliveries as well as developing a keen knowledge of our products to allow for some general sales work both front of shop and on the phone when required.
Excellent communication skills along with an outgoing personality would be important for this role as is the ability to work well within a team.
