Java Developer - Glasgow - Contract - 6 months + Search Consultancy has an requirement for highly skilled Lead Developer. You should have past experience and a good track record of delivering business projects in a fast paced environment. Hands-on technically strong developer with strong skills in Core Java, spring, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS and must have delivered projects working as a full stack web developer. Experience delivering Web based UI applications with modern look and feel. Strong working knowledge of messaging systems based on JMS like MQ Series, Tibco EMS or Solace and various relational technologies like SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle etc. Be comfortable working with structured data, XML, XSD & unstructured data. Industry level expertise in any one or more of the following technologies Core Java, JVM, Garbage Collection, Multi Threaded Programming Expert level knowledge in SQL and one or more relational technologies like SQL Server, Oracle Strong knowledge of NO-SQL technologies like Hadoop, Hbase, Cassandra, Mongo DB etc. Expert level knowledge in Service Oriented Architectures, Model Driven Architectures or Event Driven Architectures. Expert level knowledge in Big Data and Enterprise Search Experience with a search engine such as Oracle Endeca Search, Lucene/SOLR or Microsoft FAST Investment banking experience preferred Search Consultancy Ltd is acting as an Employment Business for the purpose of this vacancy.
