This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Commercial Banking business team within Santander covering the whole of the UK in support of our regions. You will join a specialist Renewables Finance team, working closely with renewable energy developers, private equity and investment funds to structure funding that meets their needs primarily in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

This will suit a candidate with a knowledge and exposure to the Renewables market, excellent analytical skills and the drive to continue building the business in this ever growing sector.

As a Relationship Director your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Suitable candidates will have a proven track record of delivery and customer service and marketing to the Renewables Sector at SME and Corporate level. In order to be successful in this position you will also have the following skills and experience:

• An understanding and genuine interest in the Renewables, energy and infrastructure markets.
• Advanced financial modelling skills and the ability to analyse cash flow models.
• Ability to write high quality credit reports incorporating detailed credit analysis and

a high level of technical knowledge. An ability to present a well thought through proposal at Credit Committee will be essential in this role.

• Self-motivated and committed individual with superior work ethic and a drive for perfection and a keen attention to detail!

As a Relationship Director your main responsibilities will involve:

The role is primarily to build quality Customer Relationships and enhance the Infrastructure Team in the delivery of new business and the on-going management of bespoke, structured project finance debt transactions in the Renewables and Infrastructure market.

• Working as part of the Infrastructure Team
• Responsible for the development quality Customers
• Responsible for excellent Customer Service
• Responsible for the delivery of agreed targets in relation to volume and profit and cross sales to other departments.
• Responsible for delivery at Credit Committees and in other meetings as appropriate and to adhere with the Credit and Risk policy.
